Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to manufacture products from raw materials into finished goods Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and materials in process Perform in-process tests to ensure production meets specifications (e.g., hardness, weight, variation, pH, moisture content) Recognize equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies and troubleshoot errors to maintain optimum production levels Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics Keep records of orders received, work completed, and inventory Match workload, manning, and equipment capacity to inventory on hand Prepare and monitor master schedules, coordinating with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams Requisition materials after determining delivery dates
