About the role

  • We are hiring ALL levels of Superintendents!
  • This position is responsible for coordinating all site construction activities.
  • This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities and complete the project on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a system of document control to ensure work is being installed per the latest design documentation and approved shop drawings
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections

Requirements

  • Assure the required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies are secured, posted, and renewed as required before starting work
  • Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelors degree, or possess equivalent years of related experience.
  • Requires working knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements/jurisdiction, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required.
  • 10-Hour OSHA and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate
  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
  • Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Timberline
  • To the extent this position is performed in New York City, the annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $220,000.

Nice to have

  • NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License is a plus
