Responsibilities
- We strongly support diversity in the workforce.

- Leads and has ownership/accountability of work.
- Participate in workshops, presentations, and feedback sessions to build trust and confidence with partners.
- Support and contribute to Barbarian's growing design culture by sharing inspiration, feedback, and new ideas.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to ensure Barbarian's work remains at the forefront of digital design.
- Contribute to the evolution of design systems and best practices that help maintain consistency and scalability across projects.
Requirements
- Ability to flag concerns or barriers to managers and other departments when needed
- Brings hands-on experience in Agile environments with the ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
- 5-8 years of experience in Product or UX Design, with experience in digital product development and visual design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing work across web and native app platforms, demonstrating excellence in interaction and visual craft.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to strategic conversations.
- Ability to define design problems, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback and data.
- Excellent presentation and verbal, written, and visual communication skills - you can clearly and concisely explain design decisions, successfully advocate for the user, and justify business rationale.
- A proactive, curious mindset, eager to learn and guide others while contributing to an inclusive design culture.
- Passion for designing products that combine innovation, clarity, and beauty.
- Highly skilled in design and prototyping tools (e.g.Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch - pending client needs).
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
