About the role

  • We're looking for an Ironworker that will be responsible for erecting and assembling structural and miscellaneous steel for buildings, bridges, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), and other construction projects.
  • This role works side-by-side with skilled tradespeople and the project foreman to interpret blueprints, handle heavy materials, and ensure every piece is placed with precision.
  • The position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain situational awareness to identify and address unsafe conditions immediately.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an Ironworker Apprenticeship Program or equivalent vocational training.
  • 5 or more years of ironworking or related construction experience, with strong background in structural steel erection.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, rigging tools, and welding apparatus.
  • Flexibility to travel to job sites in the Gulf Coast, Nashville, and Huntsville regions.
  • Eligible for a TWIC card.
  • Reliable transportation.
