About the role

Apply know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
Evaluates firewall change requests and assesses organizational risk.
Assists with implementation of countermeasures or mitigating controls.

& Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MLS requirements.
Perform complex risk analyses which also include risk assessment.
Support customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems, network, databases, and Web-based security.
Assists in developing, testing, and operating routine firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools following routine instructions.

$115,000.00 - $125,000.00.
The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
