Responsibilities
- Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?
- Perform safety audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and follow up on all corrective and preventative measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 5 or more years of professional experience in the Health and Safety field in a manufacturing setting
- Robust understanding of Federal, Provincial, and local regulations associated with Health and Safety
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
- Demonstrated skills in effective communication and data accuracy and integrity
- Stakeholder management for local community, neighbours and organizations
- Coordination with Group functions and ROCKWOOL North America peers.

Compensation
- The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000.
- Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

- Ensure that plant operations remain in compliance with new laws and regulations through continuing education, networking, and newsletters issued by the industry or other relevant organizations.
- Weekly reporting of Health and Safety Key Performance Figures (KPI's).
- Co-Chair the site Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
