About the role

  • This Accountant position is located in Fiscal Service at the Leeds, MA VA Medical Center location.

Requirements

  • Degree: Accounting
  • or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
  • You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
  • responsible for internal financial auditing and development of required financial reports, reconcile, compile, verify and disseminate billing information.
  • You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
