About the role
- This Accountant position is located in Fiscal Service at the Leeds, MA VA Medical Center location.
- This position is a Full-Time position at 40 hours per week.

Requirements
- Degree: Accounting
- or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
- You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
- responsible for internal financial auditing and development of required financial reports, reconcile, compile, verify and disseminate billing information.
- You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
- prepares operating changes when revisions are required.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional
