About the role

You will also play a key role in improving product development processes, mentoring product managers, and helping the broader organization make better decisions through clear strategy, strong judgment, and effective communication.
This role reports to the VP, Product, and is based in our New York City HQ with a periodic in-office presence.

Responsibilities

Lead product strategy and execution across Business Insider's monetization portfolio, with a strong emphasis on subscription growth, engagement, retention, and renewals.
Identify opportunities to improve the subscriber experience across the lifecycle, using research, experimentation, and data to inform priorities and validate impact.
Partner with cross-functional teams to launch and iterate on products that drive conversion, reduce churn, deepen loyalty, and create sustainable revenue growth.
Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that require strong judgment, stakeholder alignment, and clear communication across teams and leadership.
Mentor Product Managers and serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership on monetization opportunities, tradeoffs, and priorities.
A strong track record of using data, experimentation, and customer insight to shape product strategy and drive growth.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions across a broad group of partners.
A passion for building audience-centered products and sustainable consumer revenue models.
