Responsibilities
- Oversight of supplier design and delivery of nuclear fuel handling systems and equipment from requirements through final design and delivery of equipment to site.
- Support design, fabrication, construction, and testing of systems and equipment.
- Develop system and equipment design products such as 3D CAD models, calculations, requirements, system design descriptions, and interface control documents.
- Identify and ensure effective application of design codes such as ASME, ANS, ASTM, ASHRAE, IEEE, NFPA, BTH-1 and regulatory requirements.
- Present designs or participate in design reviews.
- Propose and define testing programs. Provide support and oversight during test execution, evaluation of test results, and reporting of test results.

Requirements
- Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have
- A minimum of ten years of design experience is required
- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- A successful candidate must possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
- The ideal candidate will possess nuclear industry experience working under an ASME NQA-1 quality program.
- Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III or Section VIII a plus.
- Other engineering disciplines may be considered if the candidate has relevant experience.
- M.S. and Doctorate degrees may be credited for up to two and four years of experience respectively.
Compensation
- Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
- $141,385 - $212,079
- Salary, eligible to participate in discretionary short-term incentive payments

- Education: B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering preferred.
