About the role
- We are seeking a reliable mechanically inclined person to operate related equipment for boring, turning, balancing and coating our products to precise specifications.
- The ideal candidate will have reliable attendance, desire for continuous development, and driven to produce quality parts with safety in mind.
- Operate equipment and assemble per manufacturing job work orders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instruction.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Basic math skills and understanding of tolerances.
- Good verbal communication skills for clear interaction with team members and supervisors.
- Safety minded and disciplined to follow safety protocols.
- Physical Requirements:
- Our Equipment Includes:
- CNC Double-Headed Boring Lathes
- Manual Turning Lathes
- CNC Haas, Poreba, and Toolmex Turning Lathes
- Coetz Computerized Balancing Equipment
Skills
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.)
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and components
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate: $23.00/hr.
