About the role

Critical for an HPC Software Engineer is either a very strong math background and/or a very strong computer hardware background.
This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.

Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open Source Software (OSS) and/or Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-The- Shelf (GOTS) software in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance..
Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC)..
Must have a strong Math background and understand the complex mathematical principles..
Experience with large Data Sets..
Experience with Real Time systems..
Experience with Open Source Software (OSS)..
Experience with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or Government Off-The- Shelf (GOTS) software..
Experience with Configuration Management and Web Services.
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
