About the role
- You'll troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors/hardware, and other facility systems, and you'll complete preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
- helping keep our medical office buildings clean, safe, and fully operational for tenants, clients, and patients.
- Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Receive, diagnose, and complete work orders in the work order system; document findings, parts used, and final resolution
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and common parts; track usage and notify leadership when reorders are needed
- Support the Chief Engineer by monitoring building systems, coordinating vendor work, and verifying quality/closeout of completed services
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training
- Ability to commute to and work at assigned within the Philadelphia area
- Ability to take direction, follow instructions, and work independently as needed
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accurate, timely completion
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- troubleshoot safely, make repairs or temporary fixes as needed, and escalate when required
Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $28-30/hour.
