About the role

Who should apply: Graduated students (spring graduates) interested in pursuing a career in a medical/healthcare related field are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Specifically, this is an excellent experience for students planning a career as a physical therapist, physical therapy assistant, or physical therapist technician who plan a "gap year" before matriculation to professional school.
Interns will gain comprehensive education and experience in all aspects of clinical operations and workflow, not limited to patient education, rooming patients, learning billing procedures, and various other administrative responsibilities.

This role will help us develop a physical therapy practice that will serve the underserved.

Opportunities will also be provided to shadow procedures and receive mentoring by the Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine physical therapy team.
This is a full-time, one or two-year, paid position.
Some part-time applicants with potential for transition to full-time may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
We are hiring for April 2026 and onward with 12-24 month commitments.
