About the role

The Quality Specialist ensures adherence to quality systems, laboratory procedures, and regulatory requirements within a quality laboratory environment.

Lead internal quality audit programs by scheduling audits, training auditors, ensuring compliance, and driving timely corrective action closure.
Manage quality laboratory workflows, including execution of analytical testing, equipment calibration, maintenance, and finished goods release.
Maintain and administer quality systems, documentation, and records using tools such as IFS and Qualtrax
Partner cross-functionally to support investigations, customer complaints, inventory optimization, new product support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position serves as a key technical resource across quality, operations, R&D, and customer-facing functions to maintain compliance and product integrity.
This role leads internal audit activities, supports analytical testing operations, and drives corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory analytical operations or quality laboratory environments.
Working knowledge of quality systems, audits, documentation control, and corrective action processes.

Experience leading internal ISO or similar quality system audits.
Proficiency with quality and documentation systems such as IFS, Qualtrax, or comparable platforms.
Experience supporting customer audits, regulatory compliance, or certification requirements (e.g., NSF).
Background working in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial laboratory environments.
