About the role
- The University of Northern Iowa Admissions Office is a student-centered team dedicated to making the college process clear and personal.
- Based on qualifications, the successful candidate will be hired into one of two levels of professional opportunity: Admissions Counselor or Senior Admissions Counselor.
Requirements
- Admissions Counselor: Bachelor's degree
- and ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and counselors and work within a team environment required.
- Senior Admissions Counselor: Bachelor's degree
- at least two years of experience in admissions, marketing, or related student affairs field

Compensation
- The pay grade and hourly rate will be determined by position level hired into. Below are the pay grades and starting salary range for each level:
- Pay Basis: Hourly
- Our overall compensation package is enhanced by excellent benefits for eligible non-temporary positions.
- Admissions Counselor; pay grade 117; $18.50 to Commensurate
- Senior Admissions Counselor; pay grade 118; $21.00 to Commensurate
