About the role

Field Service Engineers are responsible for repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences equipment at the customer site.
The position will be remotely located in Ann Arbor, MI, requiring regional travel serving: OH, IN, Western NY, Western PA, Northern KY.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with: - Customer Satisfaction in all aspects of the job.

Drives a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a "first time fix."
Able to effectively price and position Service agreements on both existing and new equipment, anticipating expected costs to proactively handle profit margin. Provide lead generation
Acts as a primary customer of DBS and demonstrates internal and external DBS expertise to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements
Additionally, you may be called upon to support the efforts of other regions as needed.

The Field Service Engineer position is responsible for daily service support of the existing customer base.
The engineer also supports sales growth, service growth, and customer satisfaction.

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements
