About the role

  • We're looking for a Backend Engineer to ship the product features and infrastructure that make Scanner feel effortless to operate.
  • General familiarity with databases, database internals, and data pipelines/warehouses.

  • The systems you build need to operate at scale and handle hundreds of terabytes to petabytes of log data per day.

Requirements

  • Scanner provides a magical user experience with ⚡ fast queries, allowing teams to manage massive data sets with far more ease than they can with existing tools.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, with an emphasis on backend technologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language like Rust, Go, C/C++, Java, or Swift, and willingness to ramp into Rust (we'll get you productive within a month).
