About the role

  • GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for working with physician offices to schedule cases to be performed in a surgery center.
  • Facilitates patient flow through the pre-operative process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates combo surgery cases with other Providers and their support staff.
  • Manages physician block time for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborates with OR nursing and anesthesia regarding scheduling surgical cases for assigned provider(s).

Requirements

  • High School diploma and 2 years relevant experience required
  • Coordinates with materials management regarding required equipment and/or supplies needed for scheduled cases.
  • Coordinates Prior Authorization Insurance requests in required timeframes.
  • Sends patient required surgical information/ documentation.

  • Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
