About the role
- SLB is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Calgary Supply Chain team as a Logistics Specialist.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute shipments by selecting appropriate transportation modes, routes, and approved carriers.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolve operational issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Responsibilities

- Validate transportation requests, delivery requirements, and service levels to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Support import/export activities, including shipment coordination, documentation review, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, work orders, and system data while ensuring audit readiness and compliance with QHSE standards.

Requirements
- In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the domestic movement of assets, materials, and equipment while supporting import/export activities as required.
- Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with SAP or similar logistics systems is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
