Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and features.
  • Support existing products through troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and specifications.
  • Implement engineering changes and software enhancements.
  • Investigate customer-reported issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, quality, marketing, and technical support teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and project teams, with opportunities to lead portions of projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience with C#, Python, Java, and/or JavaScript.

Nice to have

  • Experience with React.js, SQL Server, AWS, Elasticsearch, GitHub, Jira, HTML/CSS, or Pandas.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Compensation

  • Eligible for Annual Pay Increases
  • Two Ways to Save for Retirement: Badger Meter contributes 25 cents for every dollar you contribute to the plan, up to 7% of your eligible compensation.
  • In addition to the match, the company will also contribute 5% of your eligible compensation to your Defined Contribution account on an annual basis.
