About the role
- Jones Petrie Rafinski (JPR), a dynamic provider of A&E services in South Bend, Fort Wayne, and Goshen, Indiana, is seeking a civil engineer to join our Water Resources division.
- The candidate will provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight to qualified team members within the Water Resources practice and associated staff from supporting departments.
- Project management and oversight of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects with the municipal infrastructure projects is typical.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships.
- Manage all phases of water/wastewater projects including planning, engineering, and construction.
- Develop and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of design approach and implementation.
- Engage with department leads throughout the firms many practice disciplines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Perform analysis and design required for minor structures, systems, and equipment items.
Nice to have
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Professional Licensure in the state of Indiana is preferred.
- Professional Licensure in the state of MI or OH is highly favored.
- 3-5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering preferred.
- Entry-level candidates will be considered.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while actively promoting a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Experience with managing and working on water/wastewater engineering projects.
- A high level of proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
