Responsibilities
- Application Developers at Investortools design and build application functionality through technical analysis, testing, and debugging within our existing software suite, leveraging a robust library of internally developed tools.
- You will translate user and business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, evaluate design options, and ensure outcomes are reliable and efficient.
- In this role, clear and precise communication is essential, as you will regularly explain complex system behavior, design decisions, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- As a hands-on contributor in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with client services, software developers, and other team members to design, test, and refine solutions.
- Analyze complex technical and analytical problems to develop effective, scalable solutions.
- Translate client and business requirements into clear technical designs and well-structured implementations.
- Create concise project proposals and documentation that accurately capture requirements and solution approaches.
- Design, build, and deliver customized client solutions using internally developed tools.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, software developers, internal engineering teams, and client stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Desire to learn and support a robust software suite
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or similar fields.
- Learn and develop proficiency in Investortools' industry-leading software platform, with a focus on content, controls, information architecture, and system behavior.
- Build a strong understanding of fixed-income investing and how clients leverage technology to support investment workflows.

Compensation
- Estimated range of $60k - $80k based on experience.
