About the role
- The Pharmacy Technician, Dispensing plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant medications that improve lives at scale across Empower's 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy operations.
- This role operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where quality, throughput, and documentation accuracy directly impact patient safety and business performance.

Responsibilities

- Technology and Workflow Execution: Use established systems and workflows to support accurate documentation, task visibility, and consistent execution.

Requirements
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
- Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration, licensure, or certification as required by applicable state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare-related training preferred.
- Proven ability to follow standardized processes, maintain documentation accuracy, and meet quality and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and strong performance in fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in pharmacy operations, dispensing, production, fulfillment, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Experience using technology and digital tools to improve work quality and efficiency preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dispensing workflows, prescription accuracy standards, labeling requirements, and SOP adherence.
- Experience using pharmacy systems, barcode verification tools, and digital platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication skills.
