About the role

The Pharmacy Technician, Dispensing plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant medications that improve lives at scale across Empower's 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy operations.
This role operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where quality, throughput, and documentation accuracy directly impact patient safety and business performance.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong judgment, attention to detail, and ownership, while leveraging technology to improve accuracy and workflow execution.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Active Pharmacy Technician registration, licensure, or certification as required by applicable state regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare-related training preferred.
Proven ability to follow standardized processes, maintain documentation accuracy, and meet quality and compliance standards.
Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and strong performance in fast-paced environments.

Previous experience in pharmacy operations, dispensing, production, fulfillment, or other regulated environments preferred.
Experience using technology and digital tools to improve work quality and efficiency preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong knowledge of dispensing workflows, prescription accuracy standards, labeling requirements, and SOP adherence.
Experience using pharmacy systems, barcode verification tools, and digital platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and effective communication skills.
