About the role
- The Berlin Steel Construction Company is a full-service specialty contractor, primarily with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
- We have 2 fabrication facilities, 4 erection operations facilities, and 6 office locations that provide engineering and management of projects.
- We service the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets.
Responsibilities
- We design, fabricate, and erect structures in the Northeast and in other parts of the country.
- If you're highly observant, solutions-driven, and eager to build a strong safety culture across multiple job sites and facilities, we want to hear from you.
- Join us in building safer worksites, stronger teams, and a safer industry.
- Train and support field personnel, foremen, and superintendents in safety practices for structural steel and miscellaneous steel erection projects.
- Conduct incident investigations, create corrective action plans, and maintain records.
- Manage accident reports, insurance claims, and support claims review processes.
- Maintain and submit weekly activity reports to Corporate Safety leadership.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; travel to jobsites in multiple states is required.
