Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications, including new features, improvements, and defect resolution
- Support integrations with enterprise systems, including APIs, services, and data exchanges
- Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes, including builds, deployments, and validation
- Collaborate with team members to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability

- The Associate Web Developer supports the development, maintenance, and operation of web-based applications and eCommerce platforms used across Red Wing Shoe Company.
- This role contributes to application development, troubleshooting, and production support while collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in web or application development
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
Skills
- Knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps)
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills (technical and non-technical)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and processes
- Exposure to AI tools, eCommerce and Cloud technologies is beneficial
Compensation
- The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $81,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement.
