About the role

  • Reporting to the Training Analyst, the Administrative Assistant, Training is responsible for the administrative duties of training programs and other initiatives for the Human Resources - Training Department at our Coal Mountain Mine.
  • To be successful, we are looking for a confident administrative professional who can multitask, stay organized, and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support New Hire Orientation for all new employees
  • Support the Training Campus training sessions, including class scheduling, participant registrations, instructor communication, and training documentation
  • Support trainers during classroom and practical training sessions

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
  • A high level of integrity, passion for continuous improvement, and an ability to know your audience while communicating and collaborating with others would be vital for success in this position.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Training department as required

  • This person is self-motivated, detail-orientated, and has strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation

  • $59,000 - $73,000 CAD /year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
