Respond to day-to-day equipment issues and line-down events by troubleshooting, repairing, or escalating problems to restore operations safely and efficiently.
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or abnormal operation and take appropriate corrective action to reduce downtime and prevent recurrence.
Identify opportunities to improve PM effectiveness, equipment uptime, and maintenance efficiency through feedback and continuous improvement.

The primary role of the Operations Maintenance Technician is to execute preventive and reactive maintenance activities that support reliable, safe, and compliant operation of manufacturing & facilities equipment across iRhythm operations.
Equipment Maintenance & Operational Support
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment, including manual fixtures, PCBA test equipment, automation equipment, label printers, and other operational assets.
Support equipment change parts, adjustments, setup verification, and functional checks to ensure readiness for production use.
Assist in identifying root causes of recurring equipment failures and help implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
Document completed work accurately in maintenance logs, work orders, or CMMS systems to support equipment history and traceability.
Support compliance with FDA Quality Management System Regulation, ISO 13485, and internal quality requirements applicable to equipment maintenance and servicing.
Maintain equipment identification, status labeling, and service history records to support traceability, inspection readiness, and controlled operations.
Cross-Functional Support & Continuous Improvement
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.

Complete routine inspections, functional checks, basic calibrations, and replacement of wear components as required to maintain equipment performance.

3+ years of maintenance experience supporting manufacturing, automation, test equipment, or similar production equipment
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, basic mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment repair in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), controlled documentation, and maintenance record requirements in a regulated environment.
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to enter maintenance data accurately in electronic systems and use Microsoft Office applications as needed.
