About the role
- Reflects company's customer service philosophy in every customer contact.
- Additional stops may be added per customer(s) request.
- Prepares laboratory coolers with appropriate supplies and ice to keep samples in proper condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspects vehicle equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Schedules necessary maintenance on vehicle. May perform routine maintenance on vehicle. Cleans vehicle on a regular basis.
- Directly reports to Lead Driver.
- Works closely with laboratory technicians to deliver samples and answer customer questions.
- Routes are set up prior by the Lead Driver. Additional stops may be added per customer(s) request.
- Corresponds with the Lead Driver or Supervisors when customer(s) have questions or complaints.
- Supports and complies with the methods and standards based on ISO 17025 quality management system.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Must have ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Three to five years driving experience preferred.
