About the role
- The Advanced Technology Directorate/Advanced Systems Department is seeking an innovative Sr.
- Project Engineer - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning ) to work on the nation's leading research and development challenges for future ISR architectures.
- The work innovating new architectures for the deployment of functions to vehicle platforms and identifying ways that Aerospace can help realize these advancements.
Responsibilities
- Leading a portfolio of projects to apply Aerospace AI/ML expertise to support development of new capabilities for ISR architectures.
- Working directly with Government, other FFRDC and SETA staff to design and implement ground-breaking roadmaps and strategy.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with government stakeholders and leadership
- Experience developing and testing containerized applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR Master's Degree in a relevant engineering, mathematics, or science field
- A minimum of 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in aerospace, defense, or related technical fields
- Experience utilizing a diverse range of capabilities to solve technical problems.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments
- U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- An advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, or science field
- Experience with operational enterprise systems and mission operations.
