Responsibilities
- Perform document reviews to understand plans, specifications, and the scope of work
- Maintain organization of project documents
- Perform accurate, detailed quantity takeoffs and verify consistency with drawings and bid strategy
- Support memo and basis of bid preparation by collecting and organizing relevant inputs
- Support pricing review (leveling, checklist compliance, identifying gaps)
- In this role, you will directly impact estimating accuracy and bid development by performing document reviews, quantity takeoffs, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- You will support the estimating process by developing technical competency, ensuring accuracy in deliverables, and contributing to competitive proposals that align with Moss's operational capabilities and support successful project acquisition.
- Collaborate with Leads and Managers to align on bid philosophy and strategy
- Support effective team communication by issuing recaps, logs, and status updates
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of standard Estimating tools
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, and/or 1+ years in estimating or project management roles (internships included)
