Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting and management of demonstration inventory, ensuring accurate and complete records are maintained to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Lead the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of incentive plans for sales and marketing teams.
- Prepare regular reporting of incentive achievement that is understandable and actionable for the commercial team to drive sales
- Manage key aspects of the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
- Support the calculation, review and accounting for rebates, royalties and other marketing and sales programs
- Deliver advanced financial modeling and forecasting to evaluate and present complex financial scenarios.
- Suggest, lead, and implement process enhancements and reporting improvements, including automation and the use of advanced visualization tools like Power BI.
- Provide detailed variance analysis, comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and deliver actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.
- Provide expert-level support for internal and external reporting requirements by responding to Corporate Reporting and Finance requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Experience in global industrial manufacturing, with a strong understanding of its financial drivers and operational complexities.
