About the role

SLR is seeking a Bridge Inspection Diver to join our Bridgeport, Connecticut office.
This position offers the opportunity to travel (approximately 50% overnight) while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality inspection projects across diverse locations.
As our new Bridge Inspection Diver, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

Prepare standard documents, such as technical reports

Familiarity with sound engineering and safe diving principles
Ability and willingness to travel as required, approximately 50% overnight

Diver Certification
NBIS Certification (NHI - 130091 Underwater Bridge Inspection Training)
Valid driver's license

3 years preferred experience as a commercial diver, including underwater inspections of bridges, piers, piles, wharves, docks and bulkheads
NBIS Certification (NHI 130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges and NHI 130053 Bridge Inspection Refresher Training if NHI 130055 Certificate is older than 4 years) a plus

The salary range for this position is $93,600.00 - $124,800. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location
