About the role
- In this role, you will: - Translate all applicable Regional, Federal, State, and Arconic Safety-related regulations and procedures into actionable items that drive environmental, safety and health compliance and improvements across the business unit. - Deploy and implement Fatality and Serious Injury ("FSI") Prevention programs. - Lead deployment and
- execution of organization wide safety initiatives and track to ensure closure. - Ensure and communicate regularly with staff and management regarding containment processes, SOPs, and safety issues that may arise as well as workplace hazard abatement, waste chemical identification and collection for proper disposal etc. - Investigate incidents to identify
Responsibilities
- Deploy and implement Fatality and Serious Injury ("FSI") Prevention programs.
- Lead deployment and execution of organization wide safety initiatives and track to ensure closure.
- Provide case management guidance and training that supports the business.
- Develop new and update existing written safety programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and inter-company engineering standards.
- Manage and support the professional development of EHS staff across the business unit and train the trainers to ensure proper ownership at line management level. (5
