About the role

- The Personal Investment and Retirement Consulting (PIRC) provides investment and retirement education to participants in NRECA's defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
- That education is provided through 1) one-on-one conversations over phone or in person; 2) conducting seminars virtually (3%) or in person (97%); 3) providing written asset allocation and retirement plans specific to the individual.
Requirements

- Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Must possess a professional designation such as CFP®, CEBS®, ChFC®, CLU, CRPC®, or RICP® or if previously maintained Series 6, 7, 63, 65 or 66 license, must obtain a professional designation such as CFP®, CEBS®, ChFC®, CLU, CRPC®, or RICP® within two years.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, securities, insurance or pension plans consulting individuals on financial planning issues.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in the arts, sciences or business required
- Ability to travel 60-80% to rural areas
- A background in servicing clients as a financial planner or relationship manager.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience providing written financial planning services.
Compensation
- $106,000-$129,000 annual salary
- Final compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
