About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Clinical Director will mentor and support the rehabilitation team, drive patient outcomes, optimize clinic performance, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain an active patient caseload while managing day-to-day clinic operations.
  • Partner with regional leadership to achieve financial, operational, and quality goals.
  • Foster relationships with referring providers and community partners.
  • Support business development initiatives and promote clinic growth.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with payer requirements.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices across the clinic.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation operations and clinical best practices.

Nice to have

  • Board Certification (OCS or other ABPTS specialty certification).
  • Experience managing clinic operations, budgeting, and staff performance.
  • Demonstrated success improving patient outcomes and clinic performance metrics.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • They are a collaborative leader who balances clinical excellence with operational efficiency and enjoys mentoring clinicians, improving patient outcomes, and growing a successful outpatient practice.

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Arizona Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
