About the role

  • Civil Science is looking for a driven and passionate Public Works Project Manager to help shape the future of our Las Vegas public works practice.
  • We're seeking a licensed engineer who thrives in a client-facing leadership role - someone who takes pride in owning project delivery, leading high-performing teams, and driving projects from concept through completion.
  • You'll step into a strong backlog of work with immediate opportunities to make an impact and help expand our presence across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple active municipal projects
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
  • Deliver high-quality infrastructure projects for city, county, and state agencies
  • Support business development efforts, including pursuits and client relationship growth
  • Collaborate with leadership to expand backlog and market presence
  • Business development and pursuit support experience
  • Our team of talented engineers, surveyors, planners, and technicians partners with clients across the public and private sectors to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to act as a primary client interface
  • Experience managing public agency projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 8+ years of experience in public works / infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Civil 3D
  • Experience in transportation and public works infrastructure projects
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass both a criminal background check and driving record review.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with municipal or DOT clients strongly preferred
