Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
- Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
- Coordinate with administrators, engineers, developers, testers, government stakeholders, and mission partners.
- Establish effective working relationships with government agencies and mission partners.
- Deliver briefings on complex topics to technical and executive audiences.
- Support applied research and cyber capability development projects.
- The selected candidate will support projects focused on developing and implementing next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities while providing technical leadership throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Support mission-focused engineering activities from concept through deployment.

Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required (U.S. Citizen Only)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related discipline (four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree).
- 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience supporting system development, integration, and implementation activities.
- Experience communicating with technical teams, government stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Active CISSP, CASP+ CE, or CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification).
- Experience developing technical documentation, system architectures, and system designs.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Cloud and AWS environments.
- Knowledge of the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
- Experience designing and engineering systems from the ground up.
- Experience with network architecture and systems engineering.
- Compensation for this role will be based on experience, qualifications, technical expertise, and overall alignment with the position.
