About the role
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all finance and accounting operations for the business.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and cash flow projections.
- Lead the company's international and corporate tax planning, ensuring tax efficiency and full regulatory compliance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, financial institutions, and government authorities.
- Mentor and develop the finance team while driving operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of project accounting, development financing, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Nice to have
- The ideal candidate must have a strong background in real estate development finance, international taxation, corporate finance, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning.
- Candidates without relevant real estate development experience will not be considered.
- Monitor project profitability and financial performance across multiple real estate developments.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS, statutory regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Oversee treasury operations, liquidity planning, and working capital management.
- Review project feasibility studies, investment analysis, and financial due diligence for acquisitions and new developments.
- Establish and improve financial controls, reporting systems, and internal processes.
- Support fundraising activities, banking relationships, and financing negotiations where required.
