About the role

  • Our direct client is looking for a Salesforce, Copado Release/DevOps Engineer for a Hybrid Long-term contract position in Trenton, NJ.
  • J0B DESCRIPTION: - Management and optimization of release processes within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize established Copado-driven automated release workflows and CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce teams to ensure efficient, timely deployments.
  • Implement Change governance and communication for Shared Production infrastructure with multiple independent internal teams and vendors.
  • Develop and enforce version control and branching strategies using Git and Copado to maintain consistency across all environment phases.
  • Architect, provision, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform to support enterprise environments and applications.
  • Design and manage cloud-native CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools or Jenkins to automate application and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into both the Copado and AWS pipelines, ensuring high code quality.
  • Maintain documentation for release processes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform configurations, and cloud environments to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Must have Excellent Communication and Problem Solving Skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Terraform
  • Proficiency in AWS DevOps tools and infrastructure management.
  • Enterprise DevOps Experience (SaaS & Cloud ecosystems)
  • Understand the Salesforce meta-data for Change and Release using SFDX, Copado and Git
  • Copado & Automated Salesforce Release Management
  • AWS DevOps Tools, Services & Cloud Architecture
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform
  • CI/CD Pipeline Orchestration via Jenkins or AWS Code Pipeline
