About the role
- We are looking for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team in a brand new manufacturing facility in Provo, UT.
- These tasks are vital to the safety and efficiency of the manufacturing team, and to the quality of the finished product.
- The ideal candidate will understand the need for timely and consistent completion of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, testing, etc.
- Manage and perform reactive maintenance as needed
- Develop and execute improvement initiatives for minimizing equipment downtime, improving team efficiency, etc.
- Manage assembly and moving of furniture and equipment as needed
- Understanding of basic building code requirements
- Ability to read and interpret building plans
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a facilities and/or manufacturing maintenance leadership role
- Experience with development of preventive maintenance schedules and familiarity with CMMS systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language
- Experience with automation equipment and/or PLCs
