Responsibilities
- Manage a major business process from factory export to North America, Samsung WHs and Direct shipments to customer DC.
- Manage and measure logistics processes including; on-time export from factory, transloading, ETA, OTD & OTRQ management, demurrage & detention, carrier activity, POD verification, damaged products claims and Return Authorization request.
- Support the team in identifying deliveries with Over, Short or Damaged [OSD] notations on the POD and work closely with Task Force to come-up with decision and solution.
- Yard management; manage Inbound and Outbound (loaded and emptied) containers movement to minimize aging.
Requirements
- Experience required:
- BA/BS degree in supply chain management/Logistics, business or other related field
- BA/BS degree in supply chain management, business or other related field
- Expertise with SAP (TMS, WMS, ERP),
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-look-ups, formulas, macros, etc.) and other Microsoft Office products
