About the role

  • The Recreation Team Members are responsible for running Tonto Rim recreation venues.
  • This includes helping run recreation activities, opening/closing procedures, maintaining/ordering supplies, daily operations, providing for safety, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Administers the safety plan for all recreation venues with attention to detail and the highest regard for the safety of all participants

Responsibilities

  • God's design is that man and woman either be joined together in a perpetual monogamous relationship or live in a single state.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and work with groups participating (age and skill levels) and to provide necessary instruction to campers and /or staff

Skills

  • Ability to lead and organize group games
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Godly, Christian character, integrity, and adaptability
  • Christian camping or other ministry experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of Tonto Rim facilities, procedures, events, calendars, and rate schedules
  • Minimum of high-school diploma
  • Valid drivers' license
  • Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, hold, and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Some shifts require the host to be on call after hours, with possible overnight stays.
