About the role
- This role focuses on designing and implementing backend services and data pipelines that handle large-scale industrial telemetry.
- You will work on high-performance services in Rust, help shape our data architecture, and contribute to the evolution of our infrastructure as we expand toward more cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend services in Rust.
- Develop telemetry ingestion pipelines for high-frequency sensor data.
- Build storage systems optimized for efficient querying and long-term data retention.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define system architecture and requirements.
- Build reliable, production-grade systems with a focus on performance and maintainability.
- Experience building data pipelines, distributed systems, or backend infrastructure.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and contribute to system design decisions.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Experience with streaming/data processing systems (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
