About the role

Vancouver Talmud Torah is currently recruiting a 0.275 FTE PHE Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year.
Rigour, excellence, innovation and creativity are integral to the learning experience at VTT.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and the student support team to integrate PHE across the school community.
Maintain and organize PHE equipment and facilities.

A proficiency with using technology to enhance the curriculum.
We are Western Canada's largest Jewish community day school and have more than 100 years of experience!
Current BC Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB) certification.
Bachelor's degree in Education.
Specialization or demonstrated experience in Physical and Health Education (PHE) at the elementary level.
Commitment to students and to supporting their individual learning needs.
Skill in differentiating instruction and fostering a collaborative and creative environment with faculty and staff.
Ability to use a wide range of learning strategies and teaching styles according to the needs of the class and the students.
A commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.
An excellent understanding of the BC Ministry of Education K-7 PHE curriculum.
Excellent communication, creative problem solving and organizational skills.
