About the role
- The Manager of Batch Stability Studies oversees operations, process improvements, and strategic direction for a professional team.
- Represents ERCOT in stakeholder forums, committees, and working groups.
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and performance management of staff.
Responsibilities
- This job description is not intended to create a contract of employment with ERCOT.
- Provides engineering analysis and technical support for implementation of Batch stability studies pursuant to NERC Standards, ERCOT Protocol, and Market Guides.
- Coordinates with cross functional departments to implement Batch studies for Large Load Interconnection based on ERCOT requirements and NERC Standards.
Requirements
- Requires the ability to gain acceptance from others in complex situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Required)
Nice to have
- Experience performing large scale stability studies.
- Experience supporting transmission planning assessments.
- Experience analyzing large load dynamic behavior (e.g., data centers, industrial loads) and assessing system impacts.
- Familiarity with NERC reliability standards, particularly FAC-002 and TPL standards.
- Master's Degree: Electrical Engineering or related field (Preferred)

- $159,000 - $218,000
