About the role

  • Job Description Summary University Human Resources (UHR) has an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to serve as a Labor Relations Consultant within the UHR Labor Relations team.
  • The incumbent in this role will have the opportunity to foster positive working relationships with labor unions, resolve union disputes and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations and collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

  • The Labor Relations Consultant is responsible for providing professional support to the Program Director, Labor Relations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, and federal, state, and other applicable human resources related laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances.
  • Required Application Materials: Resume, Cover Letter, List of References
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Skills

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including those pertaining to collective bargaining and employer-employee relations.
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

  • $79,200 to $95,040
