About the role
- AWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water, wastewater treatment plants and many other specialized industrial packaged solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with expertise in working with aluminum and stainless steel components.
- Duties and responsibilities: Ability to Read/Fabricate/Weld components using various shop equipment/tools following specified layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting equipment to maintain functional equipment.
- Maintain orderly and clean work areas.
- Ability to work on your own based on drawings docs with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain set schedule requirements.

Requirements
- 3+ years relevant fabrication and welding or equivalent
- 2+ years as an Junior fabricator / welder or equivalent
- Maintaining daily records, as required.
- Support QA/QC activities as required
- Mentoring and coaching team members as required
- Use and maintain safety equipment, work tools, and personal protective equipment as required.
- Assist with Inspecting and correcting welds as required
- Site work and associated travel as required
- Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Accredited Trade school or equivalent experience
- Certifications: CWB & ASME (as applicable)
