About the role
- This role plays a critical part in enhancing software quality by embedding quality engineering and automation best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Participate in Agile (Scrum) environments, applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
Responsibilities
- This means making bold decisions and building scalable systems that support not only fleets but the broader economy.
- You will collaborate closely with SDETs, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software delivery.
- The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will also mentor and support QA team members to align testing efforts with organizational quality goals.
- Define and implement automation best practices aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Test Design, Execution & Data Validation Design, develop, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, execute, and maintain tests for backend data pipelines in Databricks, validating ETL processes, data transformations, and data quality.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and engineering leaders to proactively identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Assist with project planning and contribute to QA effort estimation to support accurate delivery timelines.
- Proven ability to analyze requirements, design test strategies, and write and execute comprehensive test cases.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium (mobile), and API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or ReadyAPI.
- Nice to Have Experience with load and stress testing.

- Experience with API performance testing.
- Exposure to penetration or application security testing.
- Experience with contract testing.
- Mobile application testing experience (iOS and Android).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
- Additional experience testing backend ETL data pipelines.
Skills
- Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
