About the role

  • We help organizations operate, secure, and modernize complex environments by unifying infrastructure, networking, data, security, automation, and observability under a single, integrated operating model.
  • Conduct assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for modernization, automation, cost optimization, and risk reduction across the network.
  • Present proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer discovery sessions and architecture workshops to assess current network, wireless, security, and cloud connectivity environments.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and outcome-driven network architectures.
  • Architect integrated solutions leveraging technologies from partners such as Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HPE Aruba, HPE Juniper, and Extreme, as well as cloud networking services from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Develop proposals, statements of work (SOWs), bills of materials, and responses to RFPs that clearly articulate Arctiq's ability to meet customer needs.
  • Recommend and validate solutions aligned with industry best practices, zero trust principles, regulatory frameworks, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other architects, consultants, and engineers within the practice, and serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on select projects and workshops.
  • Work with delivery and implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from design to deployment, providing architectural guidance throughout the lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships post-sale to ensure satisfaction, adoption, and identification of expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with the Networking & Connected Experiences leadership team to expand and productize the portfolio of assessment, advisory, and managed networking services.
  • Assist with the management of key certification programs and lead by example in achieving and maintaining strategic vendor certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with a strong background in solution consulting or pre-sales engineering within a VAR, integrator, or services organization.
  • Deep enterprise networking experience with platforms such as Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, HPE Juniper, and HPE Aruba, including routing, switching, and wireless.
  • Hands-on experience with network access control and identity solutions such as Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, or HPE Aruba ClearPass.
  • Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls and security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, HPE Juniper, Checkpoint, and a strong understanding of zero trust, segmentation, and SASE concepts.
  • Knowledge of licensing models, cost optimization strategies, and vendor program structures across major networking and security ecosystems.
  • Strong written, presentation, whiteboarding, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven track record of consulting with customers to design and deliver enterprise-scale, multi-vendor network architectures across campus, data center, wireless, SD-WAN, and cloud.
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking constructs across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including VPC/VNet design, transit architectures, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Familiarity with network automation, observability, and AIOps tooling, and an interest in applying automation and data to operational problems.
  • Experience supporting complex sales cycles, including solution design, proposal development, SOW authoring, and executive presentations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Aruba ACMP/ACMX, Fortinet NSE 7/8, or Palo Alto PCNSE are strongly preferred.
