Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members in alignment with company processes and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide real-time feedback, and support career development and succession planning.
  • Manage team capacity and align staffing resources with event demands across the region.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and margin improvements across events and vendors.
  • Monitor financial trends and partner with leadership to proactively address risks and optimize profitability.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk events, providing guidance and real-time decision-making support.
  • Maintain accountability for overall event execution quality, safety, and customer experience.
  • Ensure consistency in: Event planning timelines and deliverables Safety and compliance standards Staffing models and labor planning Vendor coordination and execution Partner with Event Coordinators to review event plans, troubleshoot challenges, and drive operational excellence.
  • Operational Strategy & Continuous Improvement Drive standardization of processes, tools, and best practices across the region.
  • Leverage post-event data and team feedback to identify trends and implement operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L interpretation.
  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational strategy, process improvement, and change management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Salesforce, Workday, and related systems.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
